Last November I met up with local music artist MRSHLL for a shoot. I've been experimenting a bit with colored flash and wanted to bring that outdoors to Seoul's gritty back streets at night. Seoul's night aesthetic falls unfortunately short of a cyber neon, so I wanted to bring a color scheme that would add to that feel.

This shoot was bear bones with just MRSHLL, me and my girlfriend as an assistant. Fortunately, MRSHLL has an impeccable and impressionable sense of fashion, so together we ventured out to shiver for a couple of hours in the streets and make this shoot a reality. A halfway between a fashion shoot and an artist's profile, it's always great to shoot other creative people and collaborate on a vision.

Kudos to Marshall for coming out to this shoot and putting up with subzero weather in a silver dress. I had a blast and love the resulting images.
